Description

Bannerstead

A small settlement grows into a fortified town. Bannerstead combines freely placed buildings, individual workers, resource gathering across the landscape and technological development with armies under your direct command in a lively medieval 3D world.

Food, wood, gold and stone shape your expansion. Develop new deposits, secure routes, construct production buildings and decide when your economy can support a larger army. Walls, gates and garrisons protect the settlement; ports, transport ships and warships open the way to the next coast.

The French Principalities, Byzantine Empire, Kingdom of Croatia and Swiss Confederacy each bring their own buildings, inhabitants and units. Tutorial missions, scenarios and custom games against the computer take you from your first house to a battle for a fortified position.

On iPhone and iPad, you control the game directly by touch; on Mac, with a mouse and keyboard. For Apple TV, an iPhone or iPad is intended to serve as a control panel that you deliberately connect; a supported gamepad offers another control option. This device connection is not online multiplayer.

Bannerstead has not yet been released on the App Store. This page presents the current state of development ahead of the planned submission. Features, system requirements and availability may change before release.

What is inside

What is inside

Settlement & economy

Workers gather food, wood, gold and stone. Freely placed buildings, storage facilities, farming, research and upgrades connect settlement building with the decisions of a real-time game.

Four cultures

Four playable cultures with their own sets of models: the French Principalities, Byzantine Empire, Kingdom of Croatia and Swiss Confederacy.

Tactical battles

Infantry, ranged troops, cavalry and siege engines face walls, gates and garrisons. Ports, transports, landings and naval combat extend battles beyond the mainland.

Your Apple devices

Dedicated controls for iPhone, iPad and Mac, plus a large game view on Apple TV with a locally connected touch control panel or supported gamepad.

Save locally & prepare for offline play

Named manual saves and rotating automatic backups remain on the device you are using. Required culture packs are downloaded and checked before play; fully downloaded content can be retained for offline use.
